Solutions off to an excellent start befitting of its name, Doc. Props. Looking forward to more. And congrats on getting your project off the ground. Know you've been working hard at it.
Yes, the killer superego periodically tries to start something. Early recognition and awareness is the best defense when I can recognize its voice and serenely slam the door in its face.
Other times, especially if it is persistently trying to prove a negative point like you're getting dementia, see you can't remember names, you got lost driving, you misplaced your cell phone, see, see, see, it's a good idea to reality test with some close friends --"Am I losing it?" and trust their assurances that you're not.
Yes indeed, good words to follow.
Thank you, Donald!

Thank you for all your encouragement, Michael. Your positive response to my writing is a major reason I launched.
Thanks
You are very welcome, Johnnie.
I am so glad to have you here.
I liked everything about that post, Doc. I have battled those things since I was a teenage. You might like this: https://westonpparker.substack.com/p/the-dance-floor

Thank you, Wes.
I am so glad you liked my letter.
I will be reading your poems
in a quiet time tomorrow.

I love your idea of reality testing with close friends!
I didn't think of that.
Sure underlines the importance of having close friends.
Caring allies with their heads on straight
who pay attention to how we are
and will tell us the reality when we ask.
Very nice. Compliments the Cave of Depression. Hoping to do some collaborative work.
Thank you very much for your affirming words,
and for referring Solutions to your readers.
I am a listener by nature and
have more to learn from you than you from me.
Have never had depression
so am reading your posts slowly
to gain more awareness.
My recently launched substack
is taking all my energies
so I'm not actually free to collaborate
with anyone at this point.
But you and I are both building foundations of strength
and I look forward to walking with you
on your journey.
