Thanks, Dr Hall! Since 11/6 I have moved through all those stages - like when someone dies. Trumps election this time had a simular effect on me as the Kennedy assassination. Gut punch. Anger. Fear. Rage. Terror.

But that has passed. I still recoil in horror daily as I read about the cast of pathetic characters Trump is selecting to govern FOR HIM.

But my energies are now focused on two things.

First, more contributions by me to the community. Small good stuff adds up. And it feeds the soul nourishment.

Second, joining in to build the resistance and the Renaissance. The people need a party of real populism and a rearrangement of priorities and money. Trickle up to the rich needs to be reversed to a flood of money back down to every American. In the form of health care, housing, education, clean water and good quality adequate food. These are human rights. No excuses. No exceptions.

We are the richest civilization in the history of humanity. There is enough for all of us. It just needs to be rearranged.

Any chance you can send your newsletter to the Republican members of Congress?? I'm afraid I'm not very hopeful? They had TWO opportunities to stop him with the Impeachments, when the evidence was strongly against him, but they violated their oaths and brought shame to themselves, which I hope History will show, unless they're in control of re-writing history!

Impeachment is a political process. It is not a court of law. He was not removed because he had enough political capital to prevent members of his party from voting to remove him. The same situation as with Clinton. It takes enough Senators who are more afraid of their constitutes than the person being impeached. If they feel the heat they will act.

His political capital flies in the face of the founders' spirit. Putin and McConnell are twin destroyers of the core of their respective nations.

Political capital is not dependent on history, logic, or common sense. We live in a world where perception is reality. The only currency that matters is votes.

He cares not for the voters, Fred - only for the power supplied by his billionaire fellow conspirators. So the only real currency we have (in the short term) is that very perception you speak of: bought and paid for (and duly ignored) by his traitorous friends and supporters.

Deborah you are truly inspirational.

But as a Canadian 🇨🇦 I must wonder if Americans have gone crazy —- why else would so many have re-elected a dangerous power-crazed monster as POTUS? Or perhaps they just have a worm in their brains like RFK Jr.?
