Deborah, another great question. For me, those who would especially like to receive an actual card from me are my husband and my children and grandchildren, and also some special friends.

But here is another idea : why not send personal thank you cards to our family physicians and to the many health care workers who , in spite of all the government’s lack of funding and attempt to privatize public healthcare, are still there for us as much as they can be?

Thank you for this well said brain tickle. The most important happening in my life was the result of hand written letters to my children with a truly heartfelt apology that opened an emotional door to a renewed relationship with my children.

It’s time to do some writing!

Letters stang the test of time. I am a history junkie. I have read old letters going back to the Civil War. Letters are pieces of a person's life frozen in time.
